i am also an audiophile but more into headphones...i noticed all these audiophiles are missing the most important thing and that is the acoustics of their room.. none of them are using absorbent material for their walls and without it the sound will create resonance all over.

The NS-1000's 1st order distortion at its highest in the bass is still lower than the lowest midrange/HF distortion of many speakers costing over $20,000. Some speakers the NS-1000M has surpassed: Wilson Audio Watt-Puppy, B&W N801, Harbeth Monitor 40, Vandersteens, Klipsch Horns, Quad ESL63, Spendor's top models, etc. It made the list of top 25 speakers ever made. I've only encountered one speaker made by someone else that measures better than the NS-1000, and there is a 30 year difference.

They are all lying their asses off in front of there wives! LMAO. Two of em have at least 10,000euros in cables alone. I bet they average 150,000 a system. wait yeah the bachelors just said 230,000 and 150,000 I think around 12 minute in. Thats so funny the other guys are worried about the wife, or maybe just being modest for the TV. Either way, I want I want I want..... and Ill want some more...

You should have seen the look on my insurance agent's face when we renewed our policy. This is the best combination of technical and cultural competence - not many can understand. Great documentary by the way.
