The storage medium that a game is on cannot make it look better or worse. XBOX 360 is $199 and PS3 is $399, how is that less? Microsoft has a superior online service. The PS3 isn't easier to use. Looks are irrelevant, and personal opinion. In general game systems are for gamers, but Nintendo some how managed to get people who don't play video games to buy their console. Why do you think it is still selling like it did at launch?

1. XBOX 360 has better games 2. That's true 3. wii is for people who don't play video games, that's why it kicks so much ass. 4. If you are six I could see that you might have an issue with the size of the controller. 5. BluRay sucks for games and Blue Tooth isn't all that great either. 6. The PS3 looks like a PS2, XBOX 360 is more of a modern art/UFO design. 7. XBOX 360 and wii are much better.

The HD DVD player isn't needed, and neither is a third party cooling fan. So the PS3 costs more.

Clock speed is pretty much irrelevant when you are talking about the truly puny amount of RAM in the PS3.
